A forum moderator is a person hand-picked by the admins. A "mod" has the power to moderate the content of our forums (hence the name).
How do I become a Moderator?-
Well, as you all probably know, we do not select any old forumer to become a mod. If you were hoping that this lie was reality, then I am sorry your dreams have been crushed. Infact, we here choose a rather long process. To become a forum mod, you must first be a forum Ninja (see below). If you show outstanding effort as a ninja, then hopfully you will be placed in your throne as a mod.
What is a Forum Ninja?-
A forum ninja is a regestered member who has passed one of many trials to become something of his or her status. A ninja is a person who does not yet have the full permissions that a mod has. Think of being a ninja as being in "Mod Training".
How do I become a Forum Ninja?-
There are several ways to become a forum ninja...
1) Prove yourself to an outstanding record on the forums.
2) Teach and respect all new forum members.
3) Recruit a forum member who proves to be active (100 posts+)
4) Report to FE (as needed)
