Crescent Moon

A place of peace, a place of true harmony, a place you can really call home. The Cresent Moon was a runaway for those who wanted to leave the kingdom. The ruthless king, Veranix, had taken the people's rights and completely destroyed them. He had murdered anyone in his path to become king...Including the former king. The king in this mass empire was chosen not by blood, but by the strongest warrior.

Veranix had been trained by the former king himself. Yet his mind was full of darkness and a need for power. He had murdered his own parents when he was young without getting caught. However he was only human...Humans are only the race with the most of themselves, not the strongest.

The elves had already escaped, and created The Cresent Moon. The Cresent Moon was located under a lake in the shape of a cresent moon which is where it gets its name. However when in the empire it is merely called the Creni hran, which is elven for the Cresent Moon. Since no one in the empire new the elven language then they thought the Cresent Moon was safe. It was in an unmapped area making it even harder to find because no adventurer had dared to go out that far. It was open to nearly every race...Except humans and other races that have chosen to help the humans and their race for power. The Cresent Moon had guards on it every hour of the day. Not only was it a place for peace on the inside but also an army forming. The armies were divided among the elements in which they could control.

It was based upon these elements...

Rock who among all was far the strongest but had very low stamina and was used for a quick take out.
Water who was one of the strongest but in some cases could only use the water in the air making it hard to concentrate losing energy quickly.
Fire who can make fires in any place however it is quite weak and if oxygen is cut off then so is the fire.
Air who is among all the weakest but can fight for days before finally using up all their stamina.

It was said that you could control one and only one element...Until a little child story came true. Their was a story that said that their will be five humans that can use all of the elements. Quite ridiculous because humans could only use basic magic let alone being able to master all four elements...Until one of those people emerged.

Veranix, one of the five chosen ones, had been able to do this...How is the real question. Also now that people have seen this...They need to find the other four before Veranix gets them into his army.

Kyro woke up and yawned. He had just turned sixteen as he walked out of his house. "Hm I wonder what I should do for my birthday" Kyro said to himself. He lived by himself ever since his parents died barely able to get by. The villagers had helped him and Kyro always tryed to repay the by doing jobs for them. However today Kyro decided to go out to the mountains and take a break. As he headed into the forest he heard a noise. He looked to the side and saw nothing so shrugged it off and continued on his way.
